Yes, you can see a dentist today. Call (561) 652-5796, tell us what's going on, and we'll hold you a same-day time at our office on Hypoluxo Rd in Lake Worth. We're open every day of the week, so "today" includes Saturday and Sunday mornings.
The $99 is a minimum fee for patients paying without insurance. It covers a limited, problem-focused emergency exam (ADA code D0140) and the X-ray needed to diagnose the tooth. Treatment is priced separately and quoted to you in writing before any work starts.

How our call-first system works
We don't take walk-ins. That's not about paperwork. A dental emergency needs an open treatment room, a dentist with time set aside, and the right instruments ready. When you call first, we can have all three waiting for you instead of asking you to sit in a lobby.

- Call us. A person answers, not a menu. We'll ask what happened, where it hurts, and whether there's swelling or a fever.
- We hold a time. You get a specific same-day appointment, along with what to bring and what to do on the way.
- You're seen. The dentist examines the tooth, takes an X-ray, explains what's wrong and gives you the price in writing. Treatment starts once you agree.
If you call after hours, a real person still answers. We'll take your details and hold the first opening the next morning: 7:00 AM on a weekday, or 8:00 AM on a Saturday or Sunday.
When to call for a same-day visit
Call today for any of these:
- A toothache that throbs, wakes you up or isn't helped by pain relievers.
- A broken, cracked or chipped tooth, especially with pain or a sharp edge.
- A knocked-out adult tooth. Call on your way.
- Swelling, a gum bump, or a bad taste that points to infection.
- A lost filling or crown that's sore or sharp.
- Wisdom tooth pain with swelling or a stiff jaw.
- Bleeding that keeps going after a recent extraction.
If swelling is affecting your breathing or swallowing, or you've had a head injury, go to a hospital emergency room first.
What a same-day visit includes
The exam focuses on the problem you called about. The dentist checks the tooth and the area around it, takes the X-ray needed to see what's happening below the gumline, and tells you plainly what they found.
Many problems can be treated in the same visit, from a new filling or recemented crown to a root canal or an extraction. When something needs more time, we get you out of pain first and book the next step before you leave.

Frequently asked questions
Can I see a dentist today without an appointment?
You can see one today, but please call first. We don't accept walk-ins. A quick call lets us hold a same-day time and have a room ready, so you're not waiting when you arrive.
What's the latest I can call for a same-day visit?
Call as early as you can. On weekdays we see patients until 7:00 PM, and on weekends until 2:00 PM. If today's times are full, or you call after closing, we'll hold the first opening the next morning.
Is there a dentist open now near me?
If it's a weekday between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM, or a weekend between 8:00 AM and 2:00 PM, we're open now. Outside those hours, our phone is still answered, and your call reserves the next morning's first opening.
What should I bring to a same-day appointment?
Bring a photo ID, your dental insurance card if you have one, and a list of any medicines you take. If a tooth or crown came out, bring it in milk or a small container.
