Visit costs
The emergency exam and X-ray are $99 for patients paying without insurance.
The $99 is a minimum fee for patients paying without insurance. It covers a limited, problem-focused emergency exam (ADA code D0140) and the X-ray needed to diagnose the tooth. Treatment is priced separately and quoted to you in writing before any work starts.
We accept most PPO and HMO dental plans and Medicare Advantage dental plans, and offer financing. Details are on our cost and insurance page.
What to have ready when you call
- A short description of the problem: which tooth, when it started, and what makes it worse.
- Whether you have swelling, a fever or trouble swallowing.
- Your dental insurance card, if you have one.
- A list of medicines you take and any allergies.
- If a tooth or crown came out, keep it moist in milk and bring it with you.
